Wrapped up just for you.

I went to Sheraton Hotel on Sunday night. Had organic food and also some Thai buffet.

We visited their little herb garden. (Really tiny)

And then, I took a tour around the cafe snapping pictures of the Thai buffet.

Ayam Penyet JJKC @ USJ 9

What on earth is ayam penyet? We shall see..


Meet lady boss Suryani. She cooks here too.


Ayam penyet means mashed chicken. *wonders.
Well, basically this is how they make ayam penyet.

1. Marinate a kampung chicken with 16 different types of spices for an hour. (This could be a recipe, sadly I can't tell the ingredients..
2. Boil the chicken for an hour. (This is done daily. Fresh. FRESH.)
   
3. When a customer orders, they takes it out and deep fry the chicken.
4. Takes it out.. *WHACK. WHACK. (First time they did it, it made me jump. No joke.)
5. Pours crisps on to the chicken, puts 2 types of sambal.
6. Tadaaa.. Serves. :D
   

She seems happy doing it. Ahaha.


Soda Gembira. The owner highly recommends this.
It's soda, syrup, and milk. Shocking pink!


The green one is Avocado Juice with Chocolate.
Chocolate??? Weird huh? But they have it in Indonesia.




Set A : Ayam Penyet/Mashed Chicken, served with rice, soup and fruit
In this set, we had penyet soup and watermelon! :D
The chicken was delicious though I really tried my best to differenciate the normal fried chicken with ayam penyet.




2 types of sambal.
Most people loves the red one. (Sweet and spicy.)


Ayam penyet, tofu penyet and tempe penyet.


Nasi Goreng Ayam Penyet
The fried rice has a million things in it. Okay.. Not a million. It has prawns, chicken, veggie and spices. Fabulous. It is nice by itself.






Talapia Penyet (Mashed Tilapia)
The meat is smooth, sweet, juicy. Go imagine.




Was trying a new way of taking fish pictures.. Hahah. Weird huh?

Tong Seng Kambing (Jogja style mutton curry)
I ate this without rice. OMG.. Salty salty! It'll go really nice with white rice. The mutton is so tender. x_x (Are you drooling yet?)

This is nice because of the tender mutton. x_______x
The gulai smells aromatic.






Mee Ayam from Jawa Tengah
My mum so clever.. Mixed everything with ALL the sambal. *hiss
Goodness, the spicy-ness. Can compare with that KFC's new spicy chicken.
Overall, it's great. Sadly.. Because of the spicy-ness and lack of cold water, I couldn't go on eating it. ):







My dance class was hilarious. Rebecca is in Singapore, so Chris replaced her. He taught us the song One Wish - Ray J. Slow song with tons of steps. Chris is funny. Yes, I couldn't stop laughing. Sorry! It was just unbearable. Sorry sorry. His steps aren't that hard. Well, today. The last time he taught me, I nearly died. x_x
